Project Graduation

Each year the Project Graduation committee of Delcambre holds a gumbo cook off to raise funds for this very worthy cause. The event date is December 5, 2009, the same as the boat parade, which is the first Saturday in December.

Project Graduation puts on an evening of entertainment for high school seniors on graduation night. The purpose is to keep our children in a safe environment to prevent harm to them after one of the biggest nights of their lives.

The evening consists of fine dining, games, music and an opportunity to galvanize relationships for the future. Help us keep our Seniors safe after graduation by supporting the gumbo cook off.

The gumbo cook off is located this year at the Shrimp Festival building.
